I George Athanas Savielle of Allahabad in the North Western Provinces of India , Superintendent of the Pioneer Press do solemuly and sincerely declare, that I am a Christian Subject of Her Majesty , was born in Calcutta in the Province of Bengal and married my wife Eleanor Savielle (who was also born in Calcutta then Eleanor Smith Spinster at St. James Church Calcutta on the fourth day of September in the year One Thousand eight hundred and fifty two.
That we have among other issue of our said marriage a Son who was born in Bow Bazar in Calcutta on the Fifteenth day of August in the year One Thousand eight hundred and fifty four and who was baptized in the Roman catholic faith by the Reverent Father J.A. Tracy at the Cathedral of Norsa Senlosa of Rozary in Calcutta on the First day of January in the year One thousand eight hundred and fifty five and named " George Abreo ".
That the said George Abreo Savielle my son is now of the age of Nineteen years three months and Twenty seven days and no more and is at present a pupil studying in the University of Cambridge and a candidate for the Civil Service Examination .
And I make this solemu declaration conseientionsly .
beliening the same to be true and by virtue of the provisions of an act made and passed in the Sixth year of the Reign of His Majesty King William the Fourth insituted "An Act to repeal an Act of the present session of parlianment instituted an Act for the effectual abolition of Oaths and Affirmations taken and made in various department of the state and to Substitutes .
Declarations in lieu these of and for the more entired suppuresions of voluntary and extra judicial others and affidants and to make others provisions for the abolition of unnesscessary oaths.
Declared at Allahabad fore said the Twelth day of December one thousand eight hundred and seventy three.
